Well, if VM's on the NCS and ASR9000 mean we can deploy IOS XR in one go
as opposed to the current debacle that is an IOS XR upgrade, I'm all for
that. Anything else, no thanks.
Junos upgrades in "one go" already, so I'm not complaining about that if
that is Juniper's use-case. That said, if that can be improved even
further, I'm game.

Got Plenty of the new RE´s and running 15.1I20160518 release.
Now that Junos runs in a VM you can actually choose to not do a "one go" upgrade, we have received cards where the Vmclient (the linux-host) has been version offset with the guests (junos-vm) so a full upgrade had to be done to get the guest to boot. There is also the possibility to just do a guest-reboot instead of a complete system reboot, which is a like ten times as fast as a god old reboot, For good and bad.
This same behavior is also true for the RE-S-2X00x8 in 2K.
Still haven't bootstrapped a torrent-client in the other available VMs though ;(
