Hi Aaron,

Juniper does not list that modul as supported for your platform:

Maybe the power budget per port is not high enough for the 40km laser.

And you should not connect them directly because you may blow up the receiver - launch power is higher than the receiver might can handle:

Average launch power per lane
–2.7 through 4.5 dBm

Average receive power per lane
–21.2 through -4.5 dBm
