I do not see any issue here. As Andrew said NSR should be disabled before replacing RE/SCB. Rest all seems good.

Headup: JUNOS version should be same on both REs. And it will be good if you have all the steps pre-planned and noted down well in advance.


Tip: At the time of any upgrade we always have a pro-active case open with JTAC.
