ZyEdge is seeking a highly motivated individual with inter-network experience for an exciting opportunity in a high-growth company. As a senior network engineer at ZyEdge, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Network design of enterprise-class routers, switches, and firewalls
* Deployment and implementation of network devices using best practices
* Optimization, monitoring, and post-deployment support of network devices and systems relating to network devices
* End-to-end support of network engineering projects for new and existing customers including: technical pre-sales support, customer meetings, technical proposals, network design, and technical documentation
Requirements for this position are:
* Documented experience configuring and maintaining Cisco ISR routers, Catalyst switches, CUCM, CUCME, CUCMBE, and security products
* Experience with configuration of Cisco PIX and ASA firewalls, specifically IPSec tunnels, client VPN, SSL VPN, and failover
* Configuring routers and Layer 3 switches to support WAN technologies such as T1, MLPPP, MPLS, DMVPN, and GetVPN. Experience dealing with ISP vendors to directly implement and support these technologies.
* Experience configuring optimized LAN networks which include inter-device trunking, VTP, STP, and interior routing protocols such as EIGRP and OSPF.
* Experience with network monitoring and management tools and related systems
* Familiarity with networked systems such as Microsoft AD networks and servers, Linux-based networking
* An aptitude for learning new network technologies and applying them to new and existing infrastructures
* Cisco certification (Active CCIE Required)
Additionally, any experience with the administration of Linux environments and/or systems engineering experience such as Windows Server 2003 and 2008, is highly desirable.
