NZ has an active skilled worker immigration program. A quick Google
should put you on the right path. You start with permanent residence and
eventually progress to citizenship.
Most NZ citizens can live and work in Australia under the Trans-Tasman
Travel Arrangement too.
As someone else noted migration is never easy but it can be well worth it.
I migrated from Australia to Canada (partly for the adventure of it) and
now have two passports, which opens up all sorts of opportunities.
I'd highly recommend migration as a worthwhile but challenging experience.
Cheers,
Rob
