[Network-jobs] Network Engineer (Chicago Loop)

We are a strong, ever growing dedicated web host looking for motivated personnel to fill an important position in our network team.

SingleHop is currently seeking candidates for a senior network engineer position in our Chicago office. Primary duties include escalated network support, equipment deployment, and network and capacity planning.

Following skills are needed:
- Knowledge of routing and switching, including in-depth knowledge of Cisco products
- Experience managing and administrating a datacenter network
- Strong understanding of open source monitoring and automation tools
- Excellent with time management & prioritization
- 3-5 years of experience in ISP environment highly desired
- Must communicate well
- Must work well in a team environment

Preferable experience would include:

- Working knowledge of PHP, Python, and expect/tcl/tk scripting languages
- Working experience with open source telephony systems
- Appropriate certifications (CCIP, CCIE)
- Previous data center experience
- Understanding of networking technologies and static routing
- Experience with Cisco Firewalls
