I was waiting for someone else to mention that...
This is the first storm in a long while in which the cellular network
in Silver Spring, Maryland didn't go offline after a couple of hours
of no power. Contrast with the storm back in June, in which many of
us had no cellular acess (including data) for a couple of days.
