If you have the scripting savvy, check out SIPp (
http://sipp.sourceforge.net/). You can write just about any calling
scenario, and wrap it in something that sends email/sms/whatever to notify
on the results of interest.
We've used this in-house for many SIP sensors, from basic SIP response
monitoring to load testing our conference bridge with hundreds of active
calls at high CPS. For monitoring, we wrap the SIP sensors in PHP and use
PRTG HTTP sensors to track the results.
