This note mostly affects residential customers, but it may impact business services and the Internet in general depending on the demand.

Hamilton, the most popular Broadway musical in recent memory, was filmed with the original cast in 2016 and is being released on Disney+ tonight at 12:00 AM PDT.

The simultaneous streaming release might overwhelm some CDNs or you may see elevated reports of Internet performance issues.  

Audience demand for the live musical was already insane.  The film wasn’t even scheduled until 2021 to avoid cannibalizing ticket sales, but they moved up the release since all theaters are closed due to the pandemic.
