Which is just further evidence that if you are going to voice over net, all the diversity stuff becomes your problem. Good luck trying to get route diversity out of different internet delivery carriers. The last time I looked at this it wasn't even possible to tell if both of them were renting the same underlying transport somewhere in the middle because they considered their routing information proprietary. T

hink about that the next time you're trying to hook up a phone service.

Everybody that thinks moving the entire us telephony backbone off of PCM to IP may need to think again. Sadly, we may have destroyed it all by then.
