Anyone know if something happened to Meraki? We just had an outage globally. We use different carriers across the globe and they all went down at the same time for about 5 minutes.

We didn't have a problem here.
I know from testing that if your AP's can't talk to Meraki for a short time (24hours or so) it doesn't cause an outage it just stops you making changes to the AP's. This assumes your not going back to Meraki for authentication.

Maybe an obvious point, but check to make sure that there were no scheduled upgrades that kicked off.
The communication with the cloud controller should not interrupt local wireless traffic, as long as you're not back hauling your wireless traffic to a remote MX appliance.

Thanks Chris. You know what, that was exactly what it was. However it wasn't an upgrade that we set, but rather a mandatory upgrade that Meraki scheduled. I guess there was some version of code we were on that needed to be upgraded.
Thanks everyone.
