This is what I've seen. We still have some 10G Wave circuits down now.

02/21/2019 17:44:57 GMT - The Transport NOC reported that a suspected fiber cut is impacting unprotected services between Memphis, TN and Widener, AR. The Transport NOC engaged Field Operations who performed light level tests that indicated a fiber cut approximately 9 miles from the testing site. Field Operations traveled to the site of the fiber cut and began attempting to isolating the exact location of the fiber cut.

Subject: [outages] CenturyLink Multiple Fiber Cut in SE US

FYI CenturyLink confirmed multiple fiber cuts in South Carolina, Florida, and Georgia this morning. All of my monitors have returned to normal, but I lost contact with several sites in the Southeast for appx 2 hours.

>From CL NOC:

02/21/2019 17:11:30 GMT - The IP NOC has advised that clients are reporting packet loss and latency occurring in multiple markets in the Southeast region of the United States. Initial investigations suggest that multiple fiber cuts in the area are impacting capacity on network links. Field Operations have been dispatched to investigate the suspected fiber cuts. Management and Engineering resources have also been engaged to assist with troubleshooting and resolution.

02/21/2019 16:38:29 GMT - On February 21, 2019 at 15:31 GMT, CenturyLink identified a service impact in multiple markets in North America. The IP NOC is engaged and investigating in order to isolate the cause. Please be advised that updates for this event will be relayed at a minimum of hourly unless otherwise noted. The information conveyed hereafter is associated to live troubleshooting effort and as the discovery process evolves through to service resolution, ticket closure, or post incident review, details may evolve.
