As of 13:02 local, Cogent's team reported they are still waiting permission to access the site itself. 




Seems like quite a long time for a major carrier to be unable to physically access their equipment at a not insignificant location.

I've heard that Cogent is down in Albuquerque and doesn't even have access to their equipment. 


I've seen a lawsuit that ended poorly for a local third-party. 


The two might be related.
