Hi Anatoly,

As far as I'm aware of, these images are extracted when applied on the
SmartEdge. This would involve packing and compressing again, what would be
impossible without the proper tools.

However, you might consider the following:
Open the SE-100, and remove both flash cards from their slots. Please note
down their positions where they originally came from.
You should find one 256 Mb and one 512 Mb flash card. The first one is for
VX-works and the other for the Net-BSD 1.5x image.
You can add two other equal size flash cards, and install the system with
the sysinstall procedure with support of image files and FTP server.
