[rbak-nsp] CLIPS on link-aggregated ports.

Thanks, Vladislav.

I've tried to use "access economical" link-group, both ports successfully
added to link-group, but now here is another problem.

One port in link-group always in standby state:

[local]Redback#sh la actor

                Port Port Oper Recv Seln

Lg-id Port State Priority key State State

----------------------------------------------------------------------

276 2/1 0x3f 32767 276 exchg active

276 2/2 0x3f 32767 276 exchg active

34 2/3 0x3f 32767 34 exchg active

34 2/4 0x7 32767 34 exchg actor-stdby

In other link-group (link-group uplinks dot1q) both ports are active, but in
access economical link-group one port is in standby state.

Here is the full link-group config:

[local]Redback#sh conf link-group

There is a limitation with SE100 which basically prevents you from having an
access link-group with more than 1 port. You must have noticed that all your
ports begin with "2/x" which means they are on the same slot - 2.

With SE100 use economical mode instead.

Hi.

I have SE100 with ge-2-port card. SEOS-6.1.5.1-Release.

I want to use two link-aggregated ports for CLIPS with dot1q pvc. I find out
that is must be Access Link Group. I am trying to use this configuration:

link-group test1 access

 encapsulation dot1q

 qos hierarchical mode strict

 dot1q pvc 10

port ethernet 2/15

 no shutdown

 encapsulation dot1q

 link-group test1

port ethernet 2/16

 no shutdown

 encapsulation dot1q

 link-group test1

But when I trying to add second port to link-group, I see that message:

[local]Redback(config-port)#link-group test1

% Cannot add more than one link from same slot in the link-group

Please, could anyone help me to resolve this problem?

WBR,

Ilya Savin.
