I am pretty sure that was not supported in 5.0.x.

Hi Larry, Thanks for the quick reply – unfortunately the link-group name access configuration doesn’t give me access to dot1q pvc commands. I am wondering if it is the ancient version of seos I am running – 5.0.7.10 (going to duck for cover now) Jeff From: Larry Jones [mailto:ljones at mta-telco.com]

Subject: [rbak-nsp] binding pppoe to a link group
To: "redback-nsp at puck.nether.net" <redback-nsp at puck.nether.net>Hi all, We have a 12 port Ethernet card in our system. I am trying to create a link-group using ports 1-4 that will support incoming pppoe connections. Currently my port configuration is: port ethernet 1/3description PPPoEmedium speed 100 duplex fullno shutdownencapsulation dot1qdot1q pvc 401 encapsulation pppoe bind authentication pap chap context somecontext maximum 4000dot1q pvc 402 encapsulation pppoe bind authentication pap chap context somecontext maximum 4000… What I would like to do is add the dot1q pvc 402 encapsulation pppoe and bind authentication pap chap context somecontext maximum 4000 to a link-group incoming-pppoe dot1q configuration, but there is no dot1q pvc ### encapsulation option available. So, my question is: how do I bind pvc’s inside of link-groups to have the encapsulation of pppoe? Thanks, Jeff
