Navin,

It looks like your 12-port card has failed. It is possible to repair the card but with shipping + time, would most likely exceed the cost of buying a replacement.

Do you have a hardware maintenance contract with Ericsson?

We have both the 12-Port card ROA1283179/1 as well as its replacement the 60-Port 10/100 + 2-Port 10/100/1000 module ROA1283144/1, in stock in the US if you need them.

Best regards,

You have to run diagnostics for this card:

[local]SE600(config)#card ether-12-port 2 [local]SE600(config-card)#shutdown
[local]SE600(config-card)#on-demand-diagnostic
[local]SE600(config-card)#end

then
[local]SE600#diag on-demand card 2 level 2

I think that level 2 is enough to see, probably level 1 will show some issues.

If you have removed and insert the card, there should be POD log in system, so drop here output of:
[local]SE600#show diag pod card 2 detail

Marcin

well,
from your log:
Feb 15 21:25:56: %CSM-6-PORT: ethernet 2/12 link state DOWN, admin is DOWN

So if port ID is 2/12 then slot number is 2.
Your printout is from slot 3..

Or I don't undestand something.. did you move the card from slot 2 to 3 ?
If yes, it looks like you have a EEPROM content fault..

Regards,
Marcin
