I've seen this in 6.4.1.2 here.

As known from Jeff Tantsura (product manager ip routing at Ericsson) there schould be also affected versions in 6.4 and 6.5 train.
In December '11 he wrote "All upcoming releases will have the fix included...".
So maybe, in 11.x train it is resolved.

For 6.x releases are hotfixes for the bgpd available. Ask your Ericsson support for it.
