Does anyone here have had problems with SEOS stability at versions >11.x?
We recently bought new SE600 with 4x10, 10x1 cards and single XCRP4. At
start we upgraded it to 11.x release and since then unit occasionally
resets line cards - it happened 10 times already (since January). Only
thing you can see in logs is:
%LOG-6-TDM_CONS: (PPA_CRASHSRVR INFO) 1/4: eppa3: Crashing on EU 0 pulse failure
%CSM-6-PORT: ethernet 1/2 link state DOWN service state DOWN, overall admin is UP
%CSM-6-PORT: ethernet 1/2 link state down, trigger source: Port fault detected
%CSM-6-CARD: PPA crash detected on card 10ge-4-port 1
%PPAINFRA-3-LOG_ERR: crashSrvr(): Slot/ppa 1/1 Crash server data collection started
%LOG-6-TDM_CONS: 2012/3/26 22:1:40[crash_0]pktLayer:ERROR:HI:slErrHDPrint(slErr.c,440):
%LOG-6-TDM_CONS: (PPA_CRASHSRVR INFO) 1/4: eppa3: Crash data collection started
We have tested versions from 11.1.2.3, through p1, p2 and now we finally
have 11.1.2.4 - and our problems still continue to occur.
We've already forced our supplier to change our chassis - no change.
Our last try will be to downgrade to 6.5 and see if it helps.
Or maybe replace all line cards (our new chassis contained new XCRP4).
Any clues, suggestions will be greatly appreciated?
KR,
Sebastian
