It does apply - But i verified by tcpdump that its not used in LCP
Negotiations - Which is natural when one understands RFC1661.  RADIUS
auth happens AFTER negotiating PPP MRU, so there is no way to reduce the
MTU with RADIUS except renegotation e.g.  resetting the LCP as L2TP
(RFC2661) does ... The Smartedge does not reset the sessions LCP when
LCP Parameters change.
