I think you might need to enable the enhanced mib:
snmp server enhance ifmib
Then you should have info like:
IF-MIB::ifDescr.134217796 = STRING: port ethernet 1/1 dot1q pvc 1609 1/2/68
IF-MIB::ifDescr.134217797 = STRING: port ethernet 1/1 dot1q pvc 1611 1/2/69
IF-MIB::ifDescr.134217805 = STRING: port ethernet 1/4 dot1q pvc 2009 1/2/77
IF-MIB::ifDescr.134217807 = STRING: port ethernet 1/4 dot1q pvc 2109 1/2/79
