Hi Jim,
we were running 12.1.1.6 on SE600 used as LNS. After two months, suddenly plenty of crashes on two 10GE cards (PPA3).
Obviously this release was a piece of crap.
Freshly updated to 12.1.1.7p1, expected to correct the two bugs the TAC said we met (linked to LNS use).
A third card crashed 4 days later. Great.
Ericsson is now blaming "not Redback approved XFP". Superb.
Anyway Ericsson's TAC is a really impressive bullshit generator, last time about a flapping BGP neighbor they started to blame the air filter... Why not the oil level, the head gasket or the windshield washer fluid...
At least we had no more card crash since the last one, 3 weeks ago.
regards,
Olivier

Does anyone have experience of stable v12 code with 10GE cards, especially in an L2TP/LNS/LAC environment?
