RPD core with NSR & RPKI

Greetings,

Has anyone ever experienced an RPD core on juniper mx platform while running RPKI & NSR?

Our test mx960 is running 16.1R7, config’d for NSR & had 3 sessions up with different validation apps. One of the validation sessions was flapping every few minutes and the core file indicates there was an issue with updating the backup RE.  Juniper hasn’t nailed down the source of the core & advised they’ve never seen this before.

Any thoughts?
