That is the way that the service delivery platforms we help engineer work.
 The OpenSER technology stack is our bread and butter, and it's what we do
90% of the time.  It is, however, a relatively abstruse and mildly
programmatic art - not out-of-the-box / turn-key like Asterisk at all.
