Peter,

We've been running a Cisco PGW solution for several years now to
interconnect our Cisco AS5400's and AS5350's to our Nortel GSP via SS7. So
far without any major problems. It's not the most friendliest of platforms
if your going to be making frequent changes to the configuration, but its
been solid for us (knock on wood). We have redundant PGW's which makes
maintenance easier.

We also recently began running Dialogic CSP's with SS7 as part of our Entice
Softswitch.

How much capacity are you looking to build out?
