Yeah, that works, though definitely talk to the LCG guy beforehand if
you want to party in high-volume ways. I've also found that interface
quite sluggish performance-wise at times.

Neustar does have an LNP-over-SIP product, but it's quite expensive and
restrictive in the usual way. The best bet for real-time queries is to
go to an STP operator like VeriSign who resells this information[1], or
someone like Broadvox, who presumably resells that or something fraternal.
[1] By some commercial and legal means I fail to understand, for, as
someone pointed out earlier, in theory disclosure of NPAC data requires
that whoever you're disclosing it to to also have NPAC NDAs on file for
the NPAC territories, and generally they try to keep this info within
the carrier space.
