[VoiceOps] Poor LD from Ontario, Canada

My brother opened a trouble ticket with Bell Canada and the issue is mostly
resolved. Calling Name and Number work now, and the quality is much better
though with noticeable latency, but there was about a 30-second PDD for her.
My guess is that Bell Canada had their U.S. long-distance partner use a
better route.

Subject: Poor LD from Ontario, Canada

Our customers (including my family) have been complaining over the last few
months about poor call completion and quality to the Midwest. Based on the
random CID (or lack of, when I see "Private Caller"), it's clear that Bell
Canada is doing some LCR over poor and/or dubious routes. Some calls don't
complete, or when the called party picks up, it immediately disconnects, or
the quality is very poor.

Does anyone have a contact at Bell Canada that would be able to help sort
through this? Please reply off-list.

Frank
