For each line on the 7914 that you do not want to ring, set the ring status
to Disabled.

I think I already know the answer to this - 

 

But I have a phone with two 7914's that the operator would like to just use
to monitor - See the state of the line (on,off, ringing, etc). She also does
use Call Attendant, but the 7914 would add a little extra 'hard' feature.

 

The problem is if the monitored line rings, it comes up on the main 7960
display to answer - (with ring/flash disabled). I don't see away around
this.

 

Anyone have any suggestions?
