[cisco-voip] 7914 - Monitor Only

I wish it was that simple. That only make the phone flash and not make
noise, but it sill comes up on the main display to answer - Which could
get real confusing with 28 monitored lines with incoming calls...
I have read it is possible with CME, but not CM...
BTW, congrats on the CIPTUG board...

For each line on the 7914 that you do not want to ring, set the ring
status to Disabled.

Subject: [cisco-voip] 7914 - Monitor Only
I think I already know the answer to this -
But I have a phone with two 7914's that the operator would like to just
use to monitor - See the state of the line (on,off, ringing, etc). She
also does use Call Attendant, but the 7914 would add a little extra
'hard' feature.
The problem is if the monitored line rings, it comes up on the main 7960
display to answer - (with ring/flash disabled). I don't see away around
this.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks.
Jesse
