[cisco-voip] Fax Machine Blues

We have just installed Cisco VoIP. Running CCM 4.0(2a)sr1a. The system has
been running in production for about 2 weeks now. The phones seem to be
working well (7905,7912, and 7960s). We are, however having problems with
fax machines. People are able to fax to any internal extension. When they
try to fax out of the system, sometimes they can, and sometimes they get a
fast busy signal. When you dial that same number from a phone, a fax picks
up. Later on, they may be able to fax. This is happening on both ATA186s
and VG224s (mostly on the ATAs). I was told by my vendor, BellSouth, that
the ATAs have a problem with fax machines on port 2. I moved all faxs to
port 1. Still have the problem. Has anyone else experienced this? If so,
what did you do to resolve it? Thanks.
