Bob,
What switch is this connected to. If it is an older switch that can not
supply the full 15 watts the display will be dim. This can be corrected
with a 3560 or a power brick.
Also if you log inot callmanager you can change when the display will be
active or not

1. The brightness display on my 7970 does not allow for upward adjustment,
the bar is currently set less than halfway up?
2. How can I set the default phone config to change the default to have
the
phone display active always,
the default is to blank the display on Sunday???
