[cisco-voip] VG224 / SCCP / Modem

This is inaccurate.

Using 4.1(3) with VG224 under 12.4T you can use modem/faxes with SCCP.

I've had a VG224 with stcapp (SCCP) running for 2 months with no issues. My VG24 is co-located on a lan with the T1 CAS gateway.

Clock slips/errorrs via show controller t1 will kill modems/faxes. Check your clocking, etc.

The VG224 using the SCCP image does not support fax/modems:

------------------------------------------------
*Fax and modems are not supported on FXS ports with SCCP enabled. FXS
ports with either fax or modems attached should be configured in H.323 or
SIP mode.
