This is a known problem. I had this issue all the time in 4.03. After
upgrading to 4.05 it was resolved.

Manual Import

Have you tried restarting the AvDSAD service and doing the manual import
right afterwards? Usually when I see this problem I do that and it
works. I have had this issue for a while as well (I have opened many TAC
cases), but we have never been able pinpoint the exact problem.

Bulk Import

You might want to check and change the default subscriber template you
are assigning your users when they are imported. I think in 4.03 if you
look at the template under Display name generation you will see that it
is set by default as "First name then Last Name". You might want to
change that to be "Last name the Fisrt". You should verify what this
does with a test user first. If it doesn't work you will probably need
to upgrade because TAC never got it resovled for me ......

Subject: [cisco-voip] Cisco Unity Import Tool

For quite some time now I have experienced problems with the import
subscriber utility in /saweb due to timeout issues when querying AD,
but to get around this we have used the Bulk Import Tool, which works
fine except for one problem. When we run the Bulk Import tool it
changes the names and display names of certain users. For example we
have some users who get changed from "Last, First" as display name to
"First Last". We also have one person, who happens to be a Director,
who recently got married and changed her name. Whenever CUBI runs it
changes her back to her old name. Does anyone have any suggestions as
to what might be causing this and how to get around it? This is on a
Unity 4.0(3) system.

Thanks,
Adam
