you can also add your cell phone to the alternate extension and when you dial the pilot it should ask you to enter your password immediately.

i tried it and it works wonderfully.

  I can't find the doc right now, but here is a quick overview off the top off my head:

   

  MGCP: 

   

  1)       I have a DID assigned for this purpose (8855)

  2)       Used a translation pattern to changed this to the Unity VM pilot number (Called party transform mask)

  3)       Sends you to Generic Unity message

  4)       Hit * key

  5)       Enter your extension, password

   

  H.323:

   

  1) Same as above

  2) Used num-exp command to change 8855 to Unity VM pilot

  3) VOIP Dial peer to with dest pattern of VM pilot to get to call manager

  3) Same

  4) Same

  5) Same

   

  I'm sure someone will provide other details if I missed something.
