Sounds like you need to narrow this down to a problem on the phone, 
callmanger, or unity. Incoming digits are pretty easy to read in the 
traces, they are sent out of band. Easier still, get a packet capture 
from each point. You'll see a separate packet sent for each digit (SCCP 
or SIP) and ethereal/wireshark can decode them all natively. If you're 
not familiar with what the digits look like 'normally', get a capture of 
your 'working' case first.

Start with a capture at the phone and at Unity. Is the phone sending 
them? Are they being received by Unity?
