[cisco-voip] Extension Mobility: Error Message [6]

In 4.x EM runs under Tomcat and not IIS. The location to the Tomcat
web data is c:\program files\cisco\tomcat\webapps.

Did you see the questions in my last email? If this is an urgent
matter it's time to open up a TAC SR.

Hi,

I found one thing, as per mention in the link "http://
www.ciscotaccc.com/voice/showcase?case=K93376036" there should be a
LoginService virtual directory in IIS but i don't have even i don't
have physical directory "C:\CiscoWebs\LoginService\".

Now tell me if you know any solution for this.

Best Regards

No redundancy for EM unfortunately. What we typically do is have two
IP phone services for the users, "Primary Extension Mobility" and
"Alternate Extension Mobility". These two services each point to
different nodes in the cluster.

IIRC, EM error 6 is a problem with the EM service communicating with
the directory of choice (DC Directory, etc.)

I installed CCM 4.2(3) as publisher and subscriber and configured
extension mobility as per recommanded method. Issue is when i press
service button, i found Extension Mobility service but when i select
this service, it gives me error [6] and i am not prompted for
username and pin.I configure everything properly mention on study
guides etc.
Please suggest me what should i do.

One thing more, please tell me how can i configure extension mobility
service in redundancy mode so when publisher goes down, subscriber
take the role.

Hoping for your prompt relpy

Best Regards
