Since your saying without CAD they must be agents?  if so, you have to setup
a SPAN back to the other nic on the IPCCx server.  layer 3 will be an issue
as RSPAN can't go across layer 3 wans.  unless you can RSPAN around the
layer 3 link you are correct.
