[cisco-voip] Paging system

Have a related question...

Have a client that is using the tamb connected to a vg224 port.
Everything works except the users are complaining of a "pop" when the
person paging hangs up. Any ideas on how to eliminate the "pop" at the
end of the page?

Thanks,

Joe

get one of these and it will fix things up

http://www.bogen.com/products/pdfs/telephonepagepdfs/TAMBs.pdf

there are alternatives, like the ones from valcom, but i've used the
tamb and they work great. the disconnect issue is because of the FXS
port and if you had a trunk port or FXO port it would likely work
without it, but with an FXS port you need this for sure.

I think it is a MUZAK paging.

I have a very ancient paging system that we found out about at the 11th
hour of a cut over to CUCM 6.1. I can connect an FXS port to it and it
pages once but does not dissconnect. What are some things I can try on
the 2821 gateway to make it dissconnect? Thanks for your help.
