http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/software/ios120/relnote/3600ser/rn36007k.html
says that 12.0(7)XK1 introduces "Full support for the WIC-2T, WIC-2A/S,
and VWIC (single and dual port) Wan Interface Cards in all Cisco 2600 and
3600 platforms"

I tried putting 12.0(7)XK1 on my 3640 with a WIC-2T in one of the NM-2E2W
and I could never see the interfaces. I moved the WIC-2T to a 2610 and
everything worked fine.
