Dear all,

Could someone teach me or point me what CEF subinterface(or CEF layer)
is ?

We find subintefaces like following when we prove all interfaces of
Cisco routers via SNMP.

        POS0/0/0.0-cef layer
        Null0.0-cef layer
        Loopback0.0-cef layer

We never found these interfaces until we upgrade IOS from 11.1CC to
IOS12.0(10)S1.
