in such cases I like to do a "debug serial interface" "terminal monitor"
and wath the cisco hdlc keepalives. This way you can detect a line that
only passes data in one direction.

I am not aware of the customs with provisioning T1's but here in germany
we have two basic variations on E1 circuits.

- We have unframed E1 circuits with full 32 timeslots and 2048k. These lines
also sync to your clock on end and the carrier passes your clock offset
to the other end which slaves to the received clockrate

- We also have framed E1 circuits with G.704 framing on top of G.703.
These lines usually use up a timeslot for framing and your DSU's receive
the telcos clock rate on both ends.

You might have a specific framing on your T1 that you might need to adjust
for in the Larscom's. Im am sure somebody from the T1 side of this world
can provide you with the magic word in your local telco speak to ask for to
get your larscom configured.

Greetings
Christian
