I am trying to find a solution for the following situation. If possible, I
would like to do this on either Cisco 26xx or Cisco 36xx gear, however, I
would be open to other suggestions as well if that is my only option.
Problem:
I currently have two channelized DS1's coming into another vendors piece of
equipment. These T1's each carry about 6 different channel groups
(customers) on them, with each customer having between 56k and 384k of
service. All in all, this provides for a very nice hand off from our
carrier, as we can fit many customers on a single T1, and thus save on
costs. However, it has come time that I need to free up the current
equipment in use for this application, and would like to move this over to a
Cisco based solution as I currently have 26xx and 36xx boxes in stock, and
buying a NM or WIC isn't that bad usually. In looking through Cisco's site,
I came across the NM-2CT1-CSU, however, I have been unable to determine if
this card can support multiple channel groups, or a single channel group. I
would like a solution that would allow me to carve up a T1 much like the
PA-MC-T3+ allows me to carve up a DS3 on a 72xx/75xx box.
Thanks, and any help is appreciated.
