Does anyone know if it is possible to rate limit traffic based on the following scenario:
User X has a dynamic IP that changes on each connection and can connect to the network via multiple interfaces (ie: MAC address not
known)
User X can have up to Y Mbps of bandwidth for all flows from/to his workstation.

My problem is the fact that the IP and/or MAC address is unknown, the rest is trivial.
