I recall reading about this some time ago but can not seem to find any good
reference to it any more. I have a situation where I have a cisco router
with two ethernet interfaces and a serial interface. The network is on a
private ip block, on eth0, eth1 will connect as an outside interface on
another private netblock, with nat overloading and the serial interface
should be another outside interface with a real world netblock that should
also be doing nat overloading. eth0 should be able to talk to both eth1 and
the serial interface but eth1 should not be able to talk to serial0. Does
anyone have any good examples on this or reasons why it's not possible.
Thanks,
Steve
