Privilege Levels

Hi List,

I have read and re-read on CCO a brief description of how privilege levels
work with the hopeful end result of being able to understand and configure
different levels of privileges for different users.

I understand level 15 is the default privilege level when the enable secret
is supplied to the router and that Level 1 is the default for user exec
mode.

BUT it keeps mentioning level 0 in which the following commands are
associated 'disable' 'enable' 'exit' 'help' 'logout'.

The documentation then repeatedly notifies you that

'...if you configure aaa authorisation for a privilege level greater than 0
these five commands will not be included in the privilege level command set'

I am not sure what is meant here is anyone able to elaborate and provide
examples?

Many Thanks in Advance for your help.

Ali
