Sonar CD-2 two meter AM tranceiver

Hello Boatanchorists,
                               Anyone ever hear of a Sonar CD-2 Two meter AM
tranceiver? Any information on it's vintage etc? Any information on a manual
or schematic or manual for same. It uses a 6252 ( small 5894, same tube
basing) as the output tube for about 20 wattts output. A friend of mine sold
this to me for $5.00 as a kind of a joke and I was able to make it
operational.
One interesting highlight of this radio is that it has PTT circutry and is a
genuine tranceiver. It looks real old circa 1948 vintage but am not sure.
Any information will be most appreciated.
