Hi Pat.......Long time no hear. Several years back I was active on AM
and we used to QSO.
I have gone to the Collins S-Line equipment but still have all the AM
gear....I just haven't used it. 3870 just sort of got a little
stuffy at times for me what with 30 to 45 minutes between transmissions.
Sometimes I actually would shut off the xmtr filaments an go eat
dinner...then come back and lite em' up again and never miss a comment..
HAHA.
I still listen now and then and the activity seems to have slowed down
quite a bit.
Nice to see a familiar callsign on here.
My feeling about the reflector and usage of it is exactly the same
as yours.
