FS: ARRL Handboooks & publications

What's the matter, Jim--jealous? Actually the books that I bought from someone
who clearly DID get them from a library-or from someone who had gotten them from
the library-were evidently way UNDERpriced, as evidenced by the fact that they
sold within 5 minutes of my posting, the entire package to a single individual. He
even looked up my phone number somewhere and called me. And I *did* give him a
sizable price break since I now don't have to go through the hassle of shipping
them out peacemeal. In addition, I posted the fact that they were sold as soon as
possible so that others wouldn't be contacting me, but still spent the next couple
hours apologizing to others for the fact that I didn't have a truckload of them.
You evidently feel like I've broken the "spirit" of the hobby by selling some of
my stuff in an effort to recoup a small bit of my ham radio expenditures where
the market seems to be very hungry. If I hadn't given so much stuff to newbies
over the years, I would have had four times as much to sell. In fact if there were
any deserving newbies around nowdays I doubt if I would have had them to sell.
They're all hanging out on the 'net. So eat cake, Bud.
