SX-100 Frequency Drift Fixes??

Hi Gang --

With much thanks to a fellow DC area boatanchor list member, I was able to
acquire an SX-100 in very nice cond.  This is a rig that I've always lusted
after.  Seems to be working fine with the exception of the well known
freqency stability bugaboo.

Wonder if any of you have had any luck increasing it's stability with any
modifications either physical or electrical. Other hints on care and feeding
or just a sharing of your experience with this receiver would be much
appreciated.
