Spirit of Radio Lives on the Net

I've recently bumped-into a new "net-speak" word
I just had to share with you. The spirit of the
radio arts lives on in the "new" communication form.

nether: (nee'-ther) noun; derived from "net-ether";
analygous to the "ether" of physics, a rarefied fluid
or field once thought to be infused throughout the
universe and to be the carrier of all forces,
such as radio waves. The nether is the ocean or
stream of "internet" or global network data,
taken as a whole.

Useage:
"The competitors have got a new marketing plan.
Get in the nether and find out about it."

"Where ya been all evening?"
"Oh, been sailin' the nether."

(as salutation)
"Yours from the nether,
   Becky User"

Pretty neat, huh?
And cooler then "cyber-" anything.

Even today when tech is going super-sonic,
Old Radio Lives!
